On October 31, 2022, at 4:48 PM, Officers responded to PNC Bank (2402 Route 59) for an activated alarm. Upon arrival, Officers learned that the bank had just been robbed. A preliminary investigation determined that a male suspect entered the bank and passed the teller a note announcing a robbery. The suspect then fled the area after taking an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect is described as a possibly Hispanic male, approximately 25-30 years old, with a beard last seen wearing a medical mask, glasses, black hat, black jacket, and blue jeans. There were no injuries reported in this incident.
Officers remained on the scene until representatives from the Federal Bureau of Investigations arrived and took over the investigation.
