With a mission to spread awareness and education about Black History in the community, Bolingbrook’s Black History Month Awareness Club aims to make a difference. The event is open to all Chicagoland, regardless of race and origin, to assist in building bridges of tolerance and understanding.
“We ensure that 100% of the proceeds from the event provide food and supportive services to our neighbors throughout DuPage and Will Counties. We currently serve over 6,800 adults, children, and senior citizens each month, and that number continues to rise at an alarming rate.
