One player in Romeoville will be thanking their lucky stars when they realize they have won over $1 million after playing Saturday’s midday Lucky Day Lotto draw.

In his address he highlighted another strong year for the Village of Romeoville, including the addition of over 1,600 jobs, retail sales projected more than $1.1 billion, and an equalized assessed value of the community at $1.48 billion. Given the success, the Village once again passed a balanced budget and lowered its portion of the property tax rate for the 8th year in a row.
The $40 million program was designed to meet the needs of individual localities by addressing the economic and social impacts of plant closures. The $158,155 coming to Romeoville can be used on a variety of initiatives and investments, including workforce initiatives, housing support, business attraction efforts and more.
