Youth Summit

newsp5Anne-Studzinski-at-Youth-Provider-Summit-2012More than 125 people walked away with relevant information and new contacts from the Will County Youth Provider Summit.

Linkages to the Future was hosted by the Workforce Investment Board of Will County and Will County MAPP, Mobilizing for Action through Planning and Partnerships at Provena Saint Joseph Medical Center.

Participants represented 62 different schools, community and faith-based organizations and agencies, healthcare, and government sectors dealing with young people from throughout Will County and the region.

In addition to keynote speaker Pat Sullivan, youth service providers were offered breakout sessions with: Sarah Migas, internet safety specialist from Attorney General Lisa Madigan’s office; Anne Studzinski, managing director of Illinois Childhood Trauma Coalition; and Jeremy Ly from Joliet Junior College who spoke about Career Connects Will and Grundy.
