A Halloween Ballroom Dance

Chicagoland seniors invited to come in costume

Area senior citizens are invited to a “Halloween Ballroom Dance” from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at The Timbers of Shorewood retirement community, 1100 N. River Rd., Shorewood. In addition to dancing, there will be a costume contest with fun prizes.

Handprint Flag Carries Sunny Hill Residents’ Devotion to Country

JOLIET – A handprint flag created by residents of Sunny Hill Nursing Home of Will County will fly over a trio of U.S. military facilities.

The 66-by-96 inch flag was created as a tribute to the nation’s armed forces and will fly above bases in Iraq, Virginia and Illinois.
