National I AM Day created on the second Sunday of Women’s History Month to celebrate Who SHE is

Published on

She ROCKS It celebrates the first National I AM Day with a ribbon-cutting grand opening event at Rock Run Convention Center at 1471 Rock Creek Blvd Joliet, IL 60443 from 2:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Notable women such as the Alderwoman of Crest Hill, Mayor of Broadview, Miss Black Illinois, VP of Joliet Junior College, and many more will help cut the ribbon at the onset of the event to celebrate the national day.

Registered with the National Day Calendar and set aside on the 2nd Sunday in March each year during Women’s History Month. It is a day when She ROCKS It asks everyone to declare I AM!. The organization believes that whatever follows your I AM___ is your truth and should be celebrated. The opening celebration for the nationally recognized day will be an afternoon of networking, panel discussions, entertainment, and shopping with over 30 vendors.

Guests will be encouraged to reach their full potential through self-empowerment, self-motivation, and self-encouragement. Speakers, guests, and vendors attending the event will come to celebrate through the many activities that will take place on the day.

The I AM SHE Day event will ask everyone who attends to affirm the following:

  • I AM beautiful and unique.
  • I AM strong and independent.
  • I AM grateful for a new day.
  • I AM thankful for the life I have.
  • I AM a great human being.
  • I AM resilient and brave.
  • I AM more than enough. I AM enough.
  • I AM learning to become the best version of myself.

“This event is to celebrate who you are by affirming your I AM,”  said Founder of She Rocks It Organization, Joyce Dawkins, “This day was designed to empower you to focus on yourself by stating a positive I AM affirmation that will inspire you to go out and live your best life.”

She ROCKS It is dedicated to creating events that give women an unforgettable experience. The events are created with today’s women in mind, empowering them to live their best life by showing the world who SHE is.
