Do you suffer from chronic pain and can’t find a solution or treatment that works? Pain Specialist Dr. Goran Tubic will discuss treatment options for those who suffer from acute chronic pain. Learn how you can live a fuller and healthier life pain free.

Knee & Shoulder Pain, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 16

Do you suffer from chronic knee and shoulder pain and have been told that you may need replacement surgery but you are too young? Dr. Gregory Markarian, board certified orthopedic surgeon, will share new treatment options available for cartilage restoration and joint resurfacing.

Men’s Health, 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17

Attention all men, make your health your number one priority and join us for a discussion of men’s health issues. Dr. Vibha Sabharwal, board certified urologist, will cover male incontinence, sexual dysfunction and more.

Pampered in Pink, 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30

Ladies, join us for an evening of fun, education and pampering. Make it a girls’ night out and enjoy an evening learning about women’s breast health. Join our panel of experts as they discuss lifestyle influences in cancer prevention as well as the latest on breast health, such as BRCA testing, screening mammogram guidelines and trends, and cancer prevention. Women will receive makeovers provided by Macy’s and enjoy a fashion show. Don’t forget to wear pink in honor of breast cancer awareness month. Refreshments will be provided.

Sponsored by the American Cancer Society, this program is designed for newly diagnosed female cancer patients.

Pre-Diabetes, Know Your Numbers, 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14

Adventist Bolingbrook Hospital’s CREATION Health Chronic Disease Management Center is joining the fight against diabetes and is hosting an educational evening on diabetes health. Dr. Sumitha Panicker will discuss diabetes prevention and answer questions about meter numbers, A1c screening and more. A diabetes (A1c) screening is included.
