Orientation event for incoming RHS freshmen on Jan. 15

The event provides info on all aspects of the school for new students and their parents.

Romeoville High School will begin the process of orienting the students and families who will be a part of the Class of 2019 during the month of January with presentations at both middle schools as well as Incoming Freshman Orientation Night on Thursday, Jan. 15.

Orientation Night will begin with an optional performance by the RHS Jazz Band at 5 p.m. followed by the start of the official program and welcome address at 5:30 p.m. Breakout sessions explaining all aspects of life at RHS will begin at 6 p.m. with information also available on athletics, activities and clubs.

RHS administrators, department chairs, coaches, teachers and organization sponsors will be available as well.

Eighth grade students will take part in high school orientation presentations during the school day on Jan. 13 (Martinez) and Jan. 14 (Lukancic). They will be given registration packets to bring home.

Course registration for next fall will take place the week of Jan. 19.
