Six Joliet Township High School educators recently received a total of $15,318 in grants from the Ecolab Foundation and its 2014 Visions for Learning Grant Program.

Joliet Township High School would like to congratulate the following grant winners on their awards: Soyini Chism, Peter Lipari, Mark Morrey, Paul Oswald, Karen Paul, and Nyssa Wilhelmsen.

The Ecolab Foundation 2014 Visions for Learning grants will be used for the educational growth and development of the students. The goal of Ecolab’s grant program for school educators is to encourage and reward individual teacher’s creativity and innovation in classroom learning by providing opportunities that will motivate and challenge students intellectually; raise student achievement; increase student understanding of academic content, including technical/vocational studies; and increase student understanding of the connection between school and life.

The program provides materials and resources through grants ranging from $100 up to $3,000 to teachers in specific communities surrounding Ecolab facilities.
