Joliet Central Student Athletes Sign Letters of Intent

Eleven Joliet Central High School student athletes were honored on May 16 at a special ceremony recognizing the intent to continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level.
Joliet Central Athletic Director Steve Locke and JCHS coaches were present to introduce and recognize the eleven student athletes.
“These students are not only dedicated to their sports, but to their education as well. I am very proud of each and every one of them for deciding to pursue their athletic careers in college,” Locke said.
Students who signed letters of intent at the ceremony include: Maxwell Fischer, Football, Concordia University; Troy Carlson, Baseball, Joliet Junior College; Arnold Hernandez, Soccer, Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota; Jonah Coble, Basketball, St. Joseph’s College; Jaylen McGee, Basketball, Illinois Central College; Antonio Dyson, Basketball, Rock Valley College; Diontay Brown, Football, Carthage College; Benjamin Donahue, Football, Aurora University; Daniel McGee, Football, University of St. Francis; Jacob Plevell, Football, Aurora University; and Salvador Lazaro, Cross Country, Lewis University.
