Sparked by junior Shelby Kupferschmid's 16 kills, the University of St. Francis volleyball team remained unbeaten in Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference play as it defeated Olivet Nazarene University 26-24, 25-21, 25-20 Tuesday evening at the Sullivan Center.

St. Francis (9-6, 3-0 CCAC) fell behind 15-10 in the opening set and trailed 24-23 when senior Caleigh Hill (Shorewood, Ill./ Minooka) delivered a kill to tie the set at 24. After an Olivet Nazarene attacking error, Kupferschmid put down a kill to give the Saints the 26-24 opening-set win. En route to its 13th win in its last 14 home conference matches, St. Francis held the lead for most of the second and third sets.

Junior Megan Mowery and Hill joined Kupferschmid in double-digit kills with 11 and 10, respectively. Sophomore Brooke Hartnell collected 24 digs and three service aces, while sophomore Danielle Conrad totaled 43 assists. Kaia Lenzi led Olivet Nazarene (2-13, 1-2) with 12 kills.

St. Francis, which has won 36 of its last 40 CCAC regular-season matches.
