PAE Applied Technologies now has the largest mail service center in the United States in Romeoville.
PAE's leasing of the rest of the building at 1070 Windham Parkway in Romeoville gives them more than 16 acres under one roof.

The village of Romeoville provided this news release:

Liberty Property Trust has signed a lease with PAE Applied Technologies for 723,291 square feet of industrial space at 1070 Windham Parkway in Romeoville. As of May, the company will occupy the entire industrial building.

"With over 1.3 million square feet of new industrial projects last year alone, Romeoville continues to be one of the nation's most attractive locations for development," Mayor John Noak said. "We are pleased to welcome PAE Applied Technologies to Romeoville and are looking forward to the opening of the facility."

PAE, a government services firm that supports the United States Postal Service in addition to multiple federal clients, leased the space as part of its most recent contract award to operate the Chicago Mail Transport Equipment Service Center (MTESC) to receive, sort, inspect, package, and redistribute mail transport equipment back to postal service facilities and their community of customers.

With 16.5 acres under one roof, the Romeoville MTESC (Mail Transport Equipment Service Center) is the largest service center in the U.S. PAE currently operates nine similar facilities across the United States.
