A town hall meeting to answer residents' questions and concerns about General Assembly actions in Springfield will be held June 29 at the Fountaindale Public Library in Bolingbrook.

The 6 p.m. event is being presented by state Reps. Natalie Manley, D-Joliet, and Emily McAsey, D-Romeoville, and state Sens. Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant, D-Shorewood, and Pat McGuire, D-Joliet.

“It is important that residents have the opportunity to discuss with us the decisions that have been made in Springfield and determine how those might affect their daily lives,” Manley said in a news release on the meeting.

“We will provide an update on the budget, job creation, the status of vital services and programs, and efforts to address property taxes.”

The Fountaindale library is at 300 W. Briarcliff Road.
