Crest Hill library offering programs for families, kids, seniors

Here are some of the programs being held at the Crest Hill branch of the White Oak Library, 20670 Len Kubinski Drive, in December:
HOLIDAY CARDS: “Holiday Cards for Heroes & You” will be held from 3 to 4:30 p.m. Make holiday cards for your family and American military. Cards dedicated to the troops will be distributed domestically and internationally to veterans and other active military personnel by the American Red Cross. This program is open to all ages. COMPUTERS FOR KIDS: “Tech Savvy Tuesday” programs are designed for children ages 8 to 12. They're held every Tuesday from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and are offered free of charge. The schedule is Dec. 1 -- Penny Batteries; Dec. 6 -- Stop Motion Videos; Dec. 15 -- Stop Motion Videos II; Dec. 22 -- Holiday Animations; Dec. 29 -- Countdown Timer. The schedule is 2 to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 1, Mouse and Keyboard; 2 to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 3, Knowing Your Computer; 2 to 3:30 p.m. Dec. 7, Navigating the Internet; 2 to 4 p.m. Dec. 10, Email.
