Volunteers sought for forest preserve cleanup work

Workdays are scheduled for almost every weekend through December at forest preserves in Joliet, New Lenox, Homer Glen and elsewhere.
Volunteers help clear brush in a Will County forest preserve during a work day, which are scheduled for almost every weekend through December at sites in Joliet, New Lenox, Homer Glen and elsewhere.

The Will County Forest Preserve District provided this information:

Spend some time this fall and winter helping the Forest Preserve District of Will County maintain its natural areas by volunteering for a resource management workday.

Remaining 2015 workdays will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Saturdays and Sundays through Dec. 19.
