Bertino-Tarrant, coffee and conversation

State Sen. Jennifer Bertino-Tarrant (D-Shorewood) will be hosting
coffee and conversation and satellite office hours this month.
Coffee and conversation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23, at
Bolingbrook-Eggs Inc. Cafe, 278 Weber Road, Bolingbrook.
“I encourage community members to join me for a casual conversation about state
government over a cup of coffee,” Bertino-Tarrant said.
Satellite office hours will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 25, at Joliet
Public Library, Black Road Branch, 3395 Black Road.
“People attending this event can learn how state government can help them,”
Community members are welcome to stop by Joliet Public Library, Black Road Branch, to work with the senator’s staff and receive assistance with different services.
Attendees can receive help with FOID card applications, food stamp issuance, health
care, veterans or disability issues, Medicare paperwork, foreclosure prevention
assistance and much more.
