More than 30 organizations will be participating.

Storytelling, live animals, crafts, treats, and local mascots and characters will be on hand to entertain the kids. In addition, free haircuts will be given by the Salon Professional Academy from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Special events, such as a martial arts demonstration, dance performance and musical performance by DUCAP’s Rise UP, will also take place.

“I would like to thank participating organizations for helping make this event possible,” Bertino-Tarrant said. “I look forward to meeting all of the children and parents who attend.”

The Kids’ Fair is free. For more information, you can contact Sen. Bertino-Tarrant’s Plainfield office at (815) 254-4211.
