White Oak Libraries hosting tabletop board gaming events this month

The White Oak Library District is pleased to present the “Play for the Win! Tabletop Board Gaming” program at its Lockport Branch Library, at 121 E. 8th Street, Lockport, IL 60441.

In the spirit of our “Read for the Win!” Summer Reading Challenge, try out some new board games at the Library and learn the rules without reading the instructions! Games for children, teens, and adults will be featured. Come by yourself or bring the family. Children under 8 must be here with an adult. Registration required.

The “Play for the Win! Tabletop Board Gaming” program will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2016, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, on the 2nd Floor, Meeting Rooms A&B, at our Lockport Branch Library, 121 E. 8th Street, Lockport, IL 60441. Registration required. Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Other “Play for the Win! Tabletop Board Gaming” programs will be held at the Romeoville Branch Library, 201 W. Normantown Road, Romeoville, IL, 60446, on these dates:

• Wednesday, June 22, 2016, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

• Wednesday, July 13, 2016, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm

• Monday, August 1, 2016, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
