Will County State’s Attorney James Glasgow announces that a warrant was secured late Friday afternoon for the arrest of William N. Krasawski, 41, of Bourbonnais on two counts of first-degree murder in connection with a double homicide that was discovered in Joliet on Wednesday.

Krasawski was taken into custody by Joliet Police on Thursday during the course of the investigation into the murders of Michael Oram and Jamie Wills.

A first court appearance for Krasawski has yet to be scheduled. Bond on the arrest warrant was set at $5 million by Circuit Judge Dave Carlson. The defendant will be booked into the Will County Jail this weekend.

State’s Attorney Glasgow commended the Joliet Police Department for its intensive, around-the-clock investigation that quickly led to the identification of a suspect in this case.

The Will County State's Attorney's Office reminds the public that charges are not evidence of guilt. A defendant is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial at which the government has the burden of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
