White Oak Library District steampunk weekend kicks off September 23

The White Oak Library District will present Author and Crafter Thomas Willeford for an afterhours steam punk kickoff program at its Lockport Branch Library, at 121 E. 8th Street in Lockport on Friday, Septmeber 23.

The kickoff includes a visit from Thomas Willeford, steampunk writer, and artist.

His published works include Steampunk Gear, Gadgets, and Gizmos: A Maker's Guide to Creating Modern Artifacts and The Steampunk Adventurer's Guide: Contraptions, Creations, and Curiosities Anyone Can Make. Mr. Willeford will be selling copies of his books, talking about his work, and displaying his awesome steampunk Iron Man suit! He will also demonstrate his method of reinforcing craft foam.

The “Author and Crafter Thomas Willeford Afterhours Steampunk Kickoff” program will be held on Friday, September 23rd from 5:00- 6:00pm.
