4/6/2017, 8 a.m.
Jane Addams Middle School is sponsoring "Trevor's Heroes," a combined 3K
and family carnival event on Sunday afternoon, April 23.
Jointly sponsored by the Builders Club, the Parent-Teacher Group, Student Council and school administration, proceeds from the afternoon will benefit the family of Jamie McGee Elementary School student Trevor Pavey who has been battling cancer since November. Trevor's father, Dave, is a Jane Addams teacher and coach. His two brothers are Addams students.
The 3K begins at 12:30 p.m. Carnival games, bouncy houses, raffles, a silent auction and lots of food will follow.
Those who register for the 3K by April 7 will be able to take advantage of an early registration fee of $15 (or $50 for a family of four.) Pre-registrants will receive a T-shirt and free entrance to the Carnival. Event day registration is $25. Entrance to the carnival entrance is $10 per person with a max per family of $40.
