Joliet Township High School is proud to announce the success of its students who took the College Board's Advanced Placement Program(r) (AP(r)) Exam last spring.

Seventy-eight students earned the recognition of AP Scholar, twenty-nine earned AP Scholar with Honor, twelve earned AP Scholar with Distinction, and two earned

National AP Scholar.

National AP Scholar is granted to students in the United States who receive an average score of at least 4 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 4 or higher on eight or more of these exams. Students who earned a National AP Scholar Award are Sarah Gusewelle and Marissa I. Mueller.

The following students earned an AP Scholar with Distinction Award, which is granted to students who receive an average score of at least a 3.5 on all AP Exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. Students who earned an AP Scholar with Distinction Award are: Garrett L. Beck, Jonathan D. Berry, Sara Gusewelle, Benjamin Hallihan, Jessy T. Marasco, Catherine M. Mastin, Grace Meagher, Jaymie N. Minarich, Marissa I. Mueller, Amanda N. Paez, Hannah Perruquet, and Lydia E. Schrock.

AP Scholar with Honor is given to students who receive an average score of at least a 3.25 on all AP Exams taken and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.
