Don’t miss the chance to see this funny, original musical show! LOCKED IN, an uplifting stage production is debuting at Billie Limacher Bicentennial Park Theatre (201 West Jefferson Street, Joliet) January 21 at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm. Tickets are just $5 for all ages. The show is presented by not-for-profit Will-Joliet Bicentennial Park, Inc.
This musical stage production is centered around 5 people, casually familiar with each other, finding themselves LOCKED IN a church. Niceties quickly wear off, revealing quirky personality traits, pet peeves, past hurts, and shameful secrets never before told. You will definitely feel as if you are right there with them as they ride an emotional roller coaster filled with laughter, tears…and everything in between.
This original show was created, written and directed by Kimberly D. Garrett of KDG Greater Entertainment. She is a Christian comedian, Joliet resident, an alumni of Second City Theatre in Chicago and had a book in the works about the show. She taught teen improv at Bicentennial Park this past summer. It was so well received that she and Park Manager, Lori Carmine, created a fun improv night to include adults, Improv Uncorked, coming February 10.
