Located in Bolingbrook, Johansen’s has a petting zoo as well as other family friendly activities included with their $10 admission. In addition, kids can pick their own pumpkins and the family can get a snack at the farm fresh bakery which includes cider and doughnuts.

Konow’s Corn Maze

Hours: Open daily, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

When it gets cold, Konow’s Corn Maze in Homer Glenn features an indoor play area for the kids away from the elements. In addition, kids can pick pumpkins, choose between a large or small corn maze, or take a spin on the cow train express. The farm also hosts campfires, hayrides and includes an animal barn.

Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm

Hours: Open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Seigel’s Cottonwood Farm has 20 attractions including hayrack rides, pony rides, the ghost town rail road, as well as a pick your own pumpkin field, and maze.

Dollinger Family Farm

Hours: 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. daily

Only 15 minutes from Joliet, Dollinger Family Farm features a pumpkin patch, a corm maze, hay rides and a petting zoo. For older kids, the Abyss Haunted Barn opens at 7 p.m.

Heap’s Giant Pumpkin Farm

4853 US Highway 52, Minooka

Heap’s has everything from giant pumpkins to more than 90 other varieties. Heap’s is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. with a haunted maze open on weekends starting at 7 p.m. Other family-friendly activities include hayrides, soy bean maze, kiddie corn box and moonlight hayrides on Friday and Saturdays from 7 to 11p.m.

Keller’s Farm Stand

Hours: Pumpkin patch open daily from noon to 6 p.m. Corn maze and other activities open on Saturday and Sunday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Keller’s Oswego farm location features the granddaddy of all corn mazes, a 13-acre behemoth, in addition to wagon rides, an animal barn and a concession area that serves cider, donuts and more.
