Silver Cross hosting ladies night out with comedian, breast cancer survivor

Silver Cross Hospital will hold a Ladies Night Out evening full of laughter, shopping, and tasty treats on Thursday, October 12 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Silver Cross Hospital Conference Center, 1890 Silver Cross Blvd. in New Lenox.
Participants will enjoy an inspirational one-woman show – Life Happens, Laugh Anyway with local comedian and breast cancer survivor Tracy DeGraaf.
In 2016, DeGraaf was diagnosed with breast cancer after her annual mammogram and treated at the University of Chicago Medicine Comprehensive Cancer Center at Silver Cross Hospital. Now, The Second City-trained comedian, Christian author, wife, mother of five sons, and breast cancer survivor is encouraging women to take care of themselves.
At the event, attendees can register for door prize raffles and have the opportunity to schedule an appointment for a screening mammogram.
Those who schedule a mammogram will receive an autographed gift from Tracy DeGraaf.
There will also be an opportunity to sample and shop several Silver Cross business partners as well during the evening of the event.
