Teacher Amy Snead said the project was an interesting way for the students to learn about the lives and accomplishments of several well-known Americans. It was also a useful project for them to develop their research skills, she said.

Of the many people the students portrayed were Neil Armstrong, Betsy Ross, Alexander Graham Bell, Abraham Lincoln, Rosa Parks, Helen Keller, Johnny Appleseed, Susan B. Anthony, Martin Luther King, Jr., Florence Nightengale and George Washington.
