The Plainfield Public Library is celebrating all the pop culture you love! Whether you’re obsessed with anime, a wand-carrying Potterhead or a Whovian at heart, join us for a multi-day all-ages celebration of all things Geek!

The Plainfield Public Library is celebrating all the pop culture you love! Whether you’re obsessed with anime, a wand-carrying Potterhead or a Whovian at heart, join us for a multi-day all-ages celebration of all things Geek!

Fandom Fest officially begins Friday, April 27 with Kids Con – because you’re never too old to be a fan! Stop by the Library between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm for a kids-only day of crafts, costumes, games and more. Challenge fellow fans in trivia or Quidditch; take a superhero portrait or create something at the Maker Fair.

On Saturday April 28 fans of all ages are invited to the Fandom Finale from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. From panels to Artist Alley, games and trivia to crafts, it’ll be a day to gather and geek out with other fans.

Don’t miss New York Times bestselling comic book artist and Eisner Award winner, Gene Ha. Ha will be hosting a panel and signing at 3:00 pm. Stop by and meet the awesome artist of Mae, Top 10, Fables, Justice League, Batman and many more!

Are you a fan of Doctor Who? Join the authors of RED WHITE AND WHO: The Story of Doctor Who in America for a discussion about the rich history of everything Doctor Who in the USA. Panel starts at 2:00 pm – you won’t want to miss this!

Come for the Fandom and stay for the entertainment. The School of Rock Plainfield will be performing at 4:00 pm! Then, suit up and strut your stuff in the all-ages After Hours Fandom Fashion show. Costumes from all genres welcome! Doors open at 6:00 pm, show begins at 6:30 pm.
