The Plainfield Park District is excited to introduce Fun Fridays, a series of Early Childhood programs designed to provide fun activities once a month!
Let It Snow (Program #31436): How do you make the most of the cold weather and get the kids excited about the low temperatures? You guessed it: Bring the snow and ice inside! You can’t escape the snow, so why not enjoy it! Program meets Jan. 19, 11a-12p for 2-3 year olds and 1-2p for 4-5 year olds.
Hearts Galore (Program #31437): Love is in the air! Valentine’s Day is a perfect occasion to create pink and red heart shaped projects. Break out the construction paper, glitter, paint, and glue and let’s get creative! Program meets Feb. 9, 11a-12p for 2-3 year olds and 1-2p for 4-5 year olds.
Four Leaf Clover (Program #31438): Are you feeling lucky? Learn about leprechauns, four leaf clovers and the “Luck of the Irish”. To get into the spirit, wear something green to this class! Program meets March 16, 11a-12p for 2-3 year olds and 1-2p for 4-5 year olds.
April Showers (Program #31439): Join us and celebrate the beginning of Spring! Children will make fun and “springy” projects to welcome the season! Use the crafts to brighten up your home on those cold and rainy days of Spring. Program meets April 20, 11a-12p for 2-3 year olds and 1-2p for 4-5 years.
May Flowers (Program #31440): Under the leaves, and under the snow, little seeds are waiting to grow. Out comes the sun and down comes a shower, from the ground up comes some pretty May flowers. Using household items children will create their own flower garden for all to enjoy. Program meets May 18, 11a-12p for 2-3 year olds and 1-2p for 4-5 years.
All Fun Friday programs are R$12/NR$15. Must preregister for these programs.
Programs meet at the Heritage Professional Center, 24023 W. Lockport Street, Plainfield.
