Plainfield Park District offering active adult trips this winter

2018 Chicago Auto Show (Program #35500): Explore one million square feet of domestic and imported passenger cars and trucks, sport utility vehicles, experimental and concept cars! The Chicago Auto Show will be held in the McCormick Place showcasing nearly 1,000 different vehicles. The bus will depart at 9a and will leave the auto show at about 2p. All children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Fee includes round trip transportation and entry into Auto Show. Trip is scheduled on February 13 from 9a-4pp. R$35/NR$40. Registration Deadline is January 31.
Chicago Flower and Garden Show (Program #35501): Participants can walk through life-sized gardens, participate in DIY workshops, learn from educational seminars, and enjoy garden-to-table cooking presentations and much more. The trip cost includes round trip transportation and entry to the show. Trip is scheduled March 15, 9a-4p. R$50/NR$65. Registration Deadline is March 1.
Chicago Essentials Bus Tour (Program #35502): Join us as we learn about and experience what is Essential to understanding Chicago. Guests will learn about and view some of the following; Magnificent Mile, Gold Coast, Old Town, Lincoln Park, Wrigley Field, Essanay Studios (motion pictures including Charlie Chaplin), site of St. Valentines Massacre, President Obamas home, site of 1893 World’s Fair, University of Chicago and home to the first sustained nuclear reaction, Hull House and so much more! Trip is scheduled April 24, 8:30a-4:30p. R$60/NR$65. Registration Deadline is March 26.
Once the Musical at the Paramount (Program #35503): Hailed as glorious and inspiring, gorgeous and complete magic, once is based on the Oscar-winning movie and is an eight-time Tony Award-winning musical. Trip includes transportation and admission to the show. Trip is scheduled May 16, 12-5p. R$75/NR$80. Registration Deadline is April 2.
