The Joliet Slammers presented by ATI Physical Therapy

return home to Joliet Route 66 Stadium this Friday, June 15 for theirweekend series against the Gateway Grizzlies. The weekend will feature princesses, Star Wars characters, back-to-back fireworks shows and the Slammers’ Father’s Day afternoon game.

The Slammers open the weekend series on Friday, June 15 at 7:05pm for Princess Night. All fans dressed in costume will receive a free small soda voucher on entrance to the game. Princess characters provided by Magic, Music and More will be in attendance for fan photos and autographs. Friday night will also feature a post-game fireworks show by Lumina Pyrotechnics.

Star Wars Night is Saturday with the game beginning at 6:05pm. Fans can dress in costume for a free small soda voucher on entrance and fan-favorite Star Wars characters will be in attendance for photos and autographs. The night will end in the Slammers second fireworks show of the weekend.

Sunday, June 17 is Father’s Day. Gates will open at 10am with the Mexico/Germany World Cup game being shown on the video board. Mexican food and drink specials will be available. A Slammers ticket will get fans into the stadium for both events. Following the 1:05pm game, fans can run the bases, play catch on field and the Slammers team will be available for full team autographs.

Looking ahead to the following week, the Slammers take on the Windy City ThunderBolts June 19-21 and the Traverse City Beach Bums June 22-24 in consecutive series at Joliet Route 66 Stadium.

Tuesday, June 19 is Pet Day and a Slammers $2 Tuesday when all reserved seats are just $2.00. The Slammers first Day Camp Day is Wednesday, June 20 at 10:05am, and Thursday, June 21 is Thirsty Thursday presented by Bud Light. The Slammers are also hosting a fundraiser for Hawaii. More details will be available soon.

On Friday, June 22 the Slammers begin their series against the Beach Bums for Country Night. The 7:05pm game will feature ticket giveaways to Country Thunder Twin Lakes Wisconsin and post-game fireworks. Saturday is 90s Night at 6:05pm, and Sunday is Fitness Day at 1:05pm.
