Party kicks off summer fun in Romeoville

The Village of Romeoville Parks and Recreation Department hosted the first of three Park Parties on Tuesday, May 15 at Independence Park (1730 W. Raleigh Trail). The free activities included a bounce house, D.J., yard games like potato sack races and dodgeball, coloring and word searches, and a hot dog dinner provided by the Hampton Park Social Athletic Club. "These events are ways for our great city to celebrate the well-kept green spaces and parks around Romeoville," stated Kelly Rajzer, Director of Parks and Recreation. The Village's Parks and Recreation Department are hosting two more Park Parties this summer on June 19 at Forest View Park (1065 W. Birch Lane) and July 17 at Conservation Park (524 W. Belmont Drive).
