Area job seekers are invited to attend an after-hours job fair from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 18, at the Workforce Center of Will County.

Among the positions available are flex officers, security officers, registered nurse, substitute special education paraprofessional, home care aides, home care aide/homemaker, transportation aide, home health aide/certified nursing assistant, customer service representative, forklift operators, HVAC service/installation technician, machine operator, maintenance technician, production manager, quality assurance technician.

Also, correctional officer, corrections food service supervisor, corrections nurse, corrections social worker, corrections treatment officer, material handlers, reach truck forklift operator, electronic bench technician, light industrial worker, quality control analyst, shipping associate and census takers.

WCWC Manager Susan Flessner said the events allow job seekers to meet with several employers at once.

"Someone looking for a job can make many contacts in one day and employers are able to interview people on the spot," she said.

The weekly events are held at the Workforce Center of Will County, 2400 Glenwood Ave., Suite 100. The day and times vary.
