Lockport Solarize Chicagoland: Solar Power Hour
8/5/2019, 8:33 p.m.
Thinking about going solar? Residents throughout Cook, Kane, DuPage, and Will counties have an opportunity to participate in Solarize Chicagoland, a grassroots program combining volume purchasing with community education to make solar more accessible and affordable.
Regardless of where you live in the counties, you can participate in any of the free informational Solar Power Hours. You'll learn about the basics of solar, its financial implications for a household, and how the solar group buy program works. After the session, get a free, no-obligation site assessment from the competitively selected installer. You have until September 30, 2019, to decide whether to get solar through the program.
Solarize Chicagoland: Solar Power Hour will be held on Tuesday, August 20, from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm in Meeting Room A/B at the Lockport Branch, 121 E. 8th Street, Lockport, IL.
Those interested should either register online or call 815-552-4260. For more information, contact Evangeline Stephenson at firstname.lastname@example.org.
