Bolingbrook - Join Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. - Chi Sigma Omega chapter in a community-wide event honoring the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on January 21, 2019 at 10am - 12pm. The event will take place at the Bolingbrook Community Center located at 201 Canterbury Lane, Bolingbrook, Illinois featuring a panel of local community leaders discussing what each generation can do to move closer to realizing Dr. King's dream of equality and justice for all.
Participants may bring donations of non-perishable canned food items as well as diapers to the Bolingbrook Community Center to benefit local food pantries. Early drop-off of donations is available on January 7-10 and January 14-17 during the hours of 9am-4pm at Benford Brown & Associates, LLC, 343 N. Schmidt Road, Bolingbrook, Illinois 60440.
