Settlers' Park 2019 movie series continues July 12

Calling all movie lovers! The 2019 Movie Series, presented by Illinois American Water, continues Friday, July 12, at 8:30 p.m. The Village of Plainfield and Plainfield Park District will be showing Ralph Breaks The Internet in Settlers' Park at the Richard A. Rock Amphitheater. Ralph Breaks The Internet is rated PG with a run time of 112 minutes.
The movie is shown on a 20-foot inflatable screen and terraced seating is available. Attendees are also encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and bug spray.
Concessions, including popcorn and snacks, are available for sale and Kona Ice also sells shaved ice during the movies. The proceeds benefit the movies in the park. Tacos Maui will also be selling delicious tacos and burritos during the movie. Plus, you can visit with the Plainfield Library, Police Department, and Fire Protection District before the movie begins.
Settlers' Park is located in Downtown Plainfield, near the intersection of Lockport Street and Van Dyke Road and just south of the Village Hall. Parking is available in the Village Hall Parking Lot, on Village Center Drive, and on Van Dyke Road.
