Joliet man dies from multiple gunshot wounds

A 36-year-old Joliet man died from multiple gunshot wounds in the early morning of Aug. 23rd, Joliet Police said.
Joshua Robinson was found lying in the parkway of a private residence in the 600 block of Darcy Avenue, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Police responded to the area in reference to a shooting at approximately 3:19 a.m.
Robinson was transported to AMITA St. Joseph Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. The shooting is being investigated as a homicide and the Joliet Police Department Investigations Division is actively looking into what occurred, police said.
