The State's Mobile Unit is scheduled to be offering COVID-19 testing through the rest of the week in Joliet.

The unit was initially scheduled to be at the Joliet Park District, 3000 W. Jefferson St., through Sunday, Nov. 22nd, but the site was moved to Mission Boulevard Soccer Complex, located at 640 Mission Blvd. also in Joliet. Testing hours each day will be from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is a drive-through test site and simple nasal swabs will be used. Test results be available within 4 to 7 days. There is no cost for this testing.

Anyone interested in getting a test should bring their insurance card, but insurance is not required to get a test, officials said. Anyone can be tested; you do not have to have symptoms or be sick.
