The Plainfield Public Library District and VNA Health Care are launching an exciting partnership to help serve the healthcare needs of the Plainfield community. On five occasions over the next three months, the VNA Health Care Mobile Van will be parked outside the Library, 15025 S. Illinois St., to offer free health screenings. The screenings are available from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Sept. 18, Sept. 29, Oct. 16, Nov. 3 and Nov. 20.
The community is invited to meet local authors and attend free seminars about creative writing at the Plainfield Library for Indie Author Day.
