Carpene Malvolti 1868 is a very dry Prosecco (Italian sparkling wine) that is great to drink all by itself as an aperitif. It is also versatile enough to have with a meal, especially something light, such as fish. There is a lot to be said for this wine. First you should know that its creator, Antonio Carpene, is considered the "father" of modern Prosecco. He was the first to use qualified and scientifically controlled systems to develop the charmat (aged in stainless steel vats rather than in the
