Write-in candidates for the General Election

Qualified Will County residents who would like to run for an office but were unable to get their petition filed in time can run as a write-in candidate. To be a write-in candidate a Declaration of Intent to be a Write-In Candidate form must be completed no later than sixty-one days prior to an Election. The form can be found by going to thewillcountyclerk.com. A Declaration of Intent to be a Write-In Candidate can be filed in person at, or mailed to, the Will County Clerk's Office. The last day to file to be a write-in candidate for the November 6, 2018 General Election is September 6, 2018.
