Governors race heats up at Plainfield Pig Roast

The Plainfield Township Democratic Central Committee held a Pig Roast and Barbecue for local residents to introduce some of the Democratic Gubernatorial Candidates and raise money for the Food Pantry and the Central Committee. About 200 people joined the candidates at the home of Romeo and Elaine Bice in unincorporated Plainfield Township's Old Crystal Lawn subdivision. The Democratic hopefuls vying to become the state’s next governor were able to talk with local residents about their concerns and hear what the people had to say. The gubernatorial candidates who attended were Chris Kennedy, Daniel Biss and Robert (Bob) Daiber. Elaine Bice hostess of the event is the local campaign coordinator for Chris Kennedy.
