Will County “Caniacs” won’t have to drive to Oswego or Naperville to get their chicken finger fix for much longer because Raising Cane’s is set to open in Joliet on Tuesday, March 8.

Located at 3000 Plainfield Road, the new Restaurant kicked off its grand opening celebration with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Joliet Chamber of Commerce at 9:30 am. During the ceremony, Raising Cane’s presented a $1,000 donation to Hopeful Tails Animal Rescue.

A local DJ and mascots from Joliet Junior College, the Joliet Slammers and Northern Illinois University was onsite throughout the day to pump up the crowd. To add to the excitement, Eddie from Star 96.7 FM hosted a live radio remote at the Restaurant from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“We’ve hired 120 incredible local Crewmembers and we’re all excited to bring Raising Cane’s ONE LOVE® to Joliet,” said Restaurant Leader Steven Cole. “Joliet is growing quickly, so it’s the perfect time to open a new Cane’s in the area. Our new Restaurant is in a great location next to I-55 and the Joliet Mall, so it will be super easy for locals to stop by to enjoy some fresh chicken finger meals.

Joliet’s new Raising Cane’s will serve Customers through its mobile app, takeout, dine-in and double drive-thru. Open every day from 10 a.m. to midnight. When Joliet’s first Raising Cane’s opened, it marked the 22nd in Illinois.
