Waste Management service, closures January 15

The week of January 15, 2024, will have regularly scheduled garbage and recycling pick up. The Martin Luther King, Jr. Day holiday on Monday, January 15, will not impact Waste Management’s schedule

However, City Hall will be closed on Monday, January 15, in observance of the holiday. The downtown parking decks will be free of charge and there will not be enforcement of parking meters on this day. For questions, please contact the City of Joliet Information Desk at 815-724-4000.  

Garbage pickup starts 6:00 am Fri. Jan. 12,

Due to forecasted inclement weather, garbage and recycling collection will begin at 6:00 AM, Friday, January 12, 2024. This only impacts service on Friday, January 12. Thank you for your understanding and stay safe.
