This is the second installment in Frescobaldi’s pace-setting Luce platform, and it is a bracing, muscular entry. A robust blend of Merlot, Sangiovese and Cabernet Sauvignon is aged for a year in small French oak barrels and nurtured in the bottle to deliver a dazzling array of dark fruit flavors.

This is a perfect wine for any season especially fall. Rich and flavorful with dark red plums, blackberries, rosemary, sage and thyme and hints of black pepper and licorice, this is the wine to serve before the meal with a selection of cheeses and assorted cold cuts. Carry it right into the meal with Standing Rib Roast, Roast Turkey or Duck or some Short Ribs, marinated in the wine with multi-colored carrots, shallots, and mini potatoes. Save a bit for the cheese course and a special dessert such as Red Velvet Cake. You can’t go wrong! For more, visit Frescobaldi.com.

Always drink responsibly.
