Gallery Seven to host exhibit featuring Illinois artists

Published on

Gallery Seven, located in the historic Gaylord Building in Lockport, IL, will present its annual juried exhibit featuring only Illinois artists. “Illiart” will feature artwork submitted only by painters, photographers, and sculptors who create their work in the Prairie State. There is no prescribed theme for the exhibit, allowing artists the opportunity to submit their best work in a wide range of genres.

Illiart will open on September 29th and run through October 30th. A wine and cheese reception, open to all, will be held from 1:00 – 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 2nd. During the reception, the public will have a chance to meet the artists and witness the recognition of those works judged to be the best of the exhibit.

All the artwork on display is offered for sale at prices set by individual artists.
