Hope Divine and Igniting the Fire Prayer Ministry Household products giveaway

Since the pandemic many families are continuing to struggle and experience hardship making it difficult to make ends meets.  The Hope and Divine Purpose Transitional Living Home, Inc a 50l © (3) charitable nonprofit organization located in Joliet/Chicago and Igniting the Fire Prayer Ministry, Joliet, seek to strengthen communities through charitable service, outreach activities and educational development. The charitable organizations mission is to help those with immediate needs like the homeless, seniors, families, and single mothers. 

On Saturday, November 18, 2023, the charitable nonprofit distributed household items to over fifty families. Items included 12ct Tissue-Scott. / paper towels, laundry detergent”, which are basic necessaries for daily living. “It’s all about making a difference within the community and touching the lives of individuals in need, especially single mother’s, families, seniors and the homeless, “said, Ora Holloway, President, Igniting the Fire Prayer Ministry.

“We try to restore dignity, hope, and show the love of Jesus. I can only image how hard and emotionally stressful it can be not having detergent or dish washing liquid and other basic needs,” said Holloway. Jesus put it like this, ‘if anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person? My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue but in deeds and in truth. ‘ (1 John 3:17-18).  “I am so glad to see so many churches in Joliet making their presence known through outreach within the community, that’s a blessing,” continued Holloway.
