Joliet Central Spring Musical, The Spit Fire Grill

Published on

Joliet Central High School invites students, parents, staff, and the community to its spring musical production of The Spitfire Grill at 7 p.m. on April 29 and 30, and 3 p.m. on May 1 in the Joliet Central High School Auditorium, 201 E. Jefferson Street in Joliet. Tickets are $10 at the door.

The Spitfire Grill is an American musical based on the 1996 critically acclaimed movie that depicts the journey of a young woman just released from prison who decides to start her new life in a rural town in Wisconsin. She participates in a journey within the town toward its own tenuous reawakening.

“Spitfire Grill is a beautiful musical about a group of broken people that are all looking for a way to put the pieces back together. This musical gives our student actors a chance to tell a wonderful, relatable story to our audience,” said Joliet Central Drama Instructor Joe Hoyt.
