UrbanMD, a new health and wellness show, is set to launch on FoxSoul and ImpactTV in April for National Minority Health Awareness Month, promoting diversity and addressing health disparities.

“UrbanMD” Digital Extension –“On Call”– Teams With Image Geyser To Engage BIPOC Media And Better Educate Audiences On Health

Access to timely, accurate, and–let’s be honest–engaging, health information for people of color on television is almost extinct. In April, veteran media executive, Jon Marc Sandifer, is set to launch a limited-series on Fox Soul and Impact TV aimed at the heart of the matter, UrbanMD.

The only national news show focused on Black and multicultural health issues, UrbanMD is part of a network of content that prioritizes the care and wellbeing of all people of color.

Sandifer, and his Sandifer Networks, will also work with Image Geyser to engage BIPOC media by providing access to health news and information. “On Call”, the digital extension of the show airing on Fox Soul and Impact TV, will share content with BIPOC media for coverage.

In this episode of “On Call,” UrbanMD co-host Dr. April Spencer talks to double-board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Nicholas “Nip & Tuck” Jones, who shares insight and information on “all things plastic surgery.”

April is National Minority Mental Health Month, be sure to follow UrbanMD on Instagram and check back here for more information about the UrbanMD premiere, and for tune-in updates.
