This fall the residents in the Chicago area can explore the towns along the Illinois and Michigan Canal with a new opportunity offered by Metra train. The Metra has created a special Saturday scheduled on its Heritage Corridor Line so that residents can explore the communities and recreational opportunities along the scenic I&M Canal.
Starting now until October 16th, there will be two outbound and two inbound trains providing easy access to the bike and running paths, festivals, craft breweries, restaurants, and vibrant community along the historic route. The $7 pass will make the Metra a convenient and affordable way to explore the regions.
