It is with joy and happiness that we share our wedding with our global family and friends. William and Aida are members of San Jose Church of Christ in Jacksonville, Florida. They were wed on Saturday, December 12, 2020. Presiding was Lead Minister Joel Singleton, because of the pandemic their wedding was streamed to family and friends locally and internationally.

We will not be stopped by the pandemic, but we will use common sense, caution, and have safety in mind for our friends and family to keep everyone safe.

This shows the influence of social media to connect people and how streaming allows deeper connections locally and even globally.

The streamed event provided an opportunity for family and friends that are local, national, and international to view the wedding from the comfort of their homes or on mobile devices who cannot travel or are isolated.

William has 33 years teaching with Duval County Public Schools and currently teaches STEM at Twin Lakes Middle School and Aida is a respected florist, author, artist, and online professor with several universities teaching on the value of inclusion of Black, Brown and Indigenous people in technology fields. Both are involved in global ministries sharing the use of technology in ministry and education.

They have family and friends from the United States, Central America, Canada, Latin America, India, and Africa that will be watching the streamed event.
